26/02/2004 (Agence Europe) - Belgian Liberal Jacqueline Rousseaux, second alternate at the European elections of 1989, 1994 and 1999, was welcomed on Wednesday at the Liberal Group of the European Parliament to replace Frédérique Ries, who has become Secretary of State for European Affairs. Ms Rousseaux, who is a lawyer, will mainly deal with issues concerning SMEs and liberal professions, a press release states.
