26/02/2004 (Agence Europe) - According to a press statement from the Swedish Department of Health, Sweden has decided to set up the future European Infectious Diseases Prevention and Control Centre in Stockholm. During the distribution of agency seats, in December 2003 in Brussels, the European Council decided to allocate Sweden with responsibility for the centre.
