26/02/2004 (Agence Europe) - The Netherlands and France are going to provide assurances regarding the funding of the complementary research programme for the Petten High Flux Reactor in the Netherlands. This is a result of the decision from the Council of 19 February setting up the programme for three years beginning 1 January 2004. The Dutch contribution is EUR 29.75 million and the French contribution stands at EUR 0.9 million. this EUR 30.65 million should be enough to ensure the security of 250 days of functioning for the reactor.
