19/02/2004 (Agence Europe) - Directive 2004/11/EC modifying directive 92/24/EEC on the installation and use of speed limiters on certain motor vehicles was published in the Official Journal 44 of 14 February. This directive, which entered into force three days after its publication, extends the scope of directive 92/24/EEC (which applies to lorries and coaches) to lighter commercial vehicles such as minibuses and goods transport vehicles exceeding 3.5 tonnes.
