Austria does not seem to be able to convince partners of interest of European intelligence agency - Javier Solana presents security strategy

Brussels, 19/02/2004 (Agence Europe) - Austria suggested to its partners that it would be an advantage to have a European intelligence agency whose work would be followed up by the Justice and Home Affairs Council. The only Member States, however, that reacted to its proposal did so saying they found the idea very premature.
