Mr Verheugen presents new neighbourhood policy in Morocco

Rabat, 05/02/2004 (Agence Europe) - The European Commissioner for Enlargement, Günter Verheugen, who is also in charge of the enlarged EU's neighbourhood policy, is in Rabat from Wednesday to Friday, where he is holding talks with government officials in charge of relations with the EU. The aim of the visit is to explain to the Moroccan authorities the meaning and objectives of this new policy, and to consult them before drawing up a "national action plan".
