12/12/2003 (Agence Europe) - On 11 December, Irish Development Cooperation Minister Tom Kitt briefed the National Forum on Europe on the priorities of the upcoming Irish Presidency regarding development policy and the fight against AIDS. On this occasion, Justin Kilcullen, Director of Trócaire, the Irish Catholic Agency for world development, warned against the risk that the EU might neglect Africa and simply concentrate in the future on relations with its "near neighbours".
