European Insurance Committee and Women's Lobby find fault with sexual equality directive on supply of services and goods

Brussels, 10/11/2003 (Agence Europe) - The unveiling last Wednesday by Anna Diamantopoulou of the draft directive aiming to implement equality between men and women in the supply of goods and services has sparked strong reaction from the insurance industry and women's organisations (see EUROPE of 6 November p.11).
