Mr Busquin in Moscow from 30 October to 1 November

Brussels, 29/10/2003 (Agence Europe) - The Commissioner for Research, Philippe Busquin, will be in Moscow from 30 October to 1 November to discuss co-operation between the EU and Russia in the fields of industry, technology and science. He will meet representatives from politics, the economy, science and academia, including: Deputy Prime Minister Boris Alyoshin, Director General of the Russian Space Agency (Rosaviakosmos) Yury Koptiev, Deputy Minister for atomic energy, Mr Asmolov. Philippe Busquin will visit Kurchatov, the Institute of Biomedical Chemistry (RAMS) and "Star City", the Russian enclave in Moscow.
