Parliament calls for application of Protocol of Pretoria

Strasbourg, 24/10/2003 (Agence Europe) - In its adoption, during the emergency debate on Thursday, of a resolution by its committee on development on the situation in Burundi, the European Parliament is calling for all parties rapidly to implement the political and military clauses of the Protocol of Pretoria. It calls upon the Council and the Commission to continue in the process of peace and reconstruction in Burundi. The Parliament invites Agathon Rwasa's National Liberation Front to...
