Parliament threatens to form committee of inquiry if it does not receive information on Lloyds as requested

Strasbourg, 26/09/2003 (Agence Europe) - The European Parliament adopted the report by British Conservative Roy Perry on the Lloyds' petitions. The United Kingdom is said not to meet the provisions of the non-life insurance directives (73/239 and following) mainly with regards Lloyds' prudential surveillance.
