Hamas is added to European list of terrorist organisations

Brussels, 15/09/2003 (Agence Europe) - Since Saturday, the Hamas has been officially considered as a terrorist organisation by the European Union and its Member States. The assets held by Hamas in any Member State must be frozen, and all financial transactions prohibited. The Fifteen, on the other hand, have not yet decided whether or not to include members of Hamas or Hamas-related organisations on the list (EUROPE of 10 September, p.5).
