Commission preparing to make two decisions

Brussels, 22/07/2003 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission is on the verge of rejecting the French government's request regarding the Commission's assessment of Lagardère's acquisition of Vivendi Universal Publishing. France had wanted to retain the part of the dossier looking at the impact of the deal in France. On Wednesday, the Commission is expected to authorise the acquisition of Roche's vitamins business by DSM.
