22/07/2003 (Agence Europe) - According to estimates published on 17 July by Eurostat, industrial production in the eurozone fell by 0.9% in May 2003 on the previous month. In April, it rose by 0.4%, following a 0.8% fall in March. Industrial production in the EU as a whole (EU15) fell by 1.1% in May, following a 0.7% fall in April and a 0.9% fall in March. In annual terms (May 2002/May 2002), industrial production fell by 1.3% in the eurozone and 1.8% in the EU15.
