Javier Solana calls for rapid adoption of mandate allowing MONUC military means to take over from Artemis

New York, 18/07/2003 (Agence Europe) - The High Representative for CFSP, Javier Solana, pleaded in favour of a rapid adoption of a mandate providing the United Nations Mission for the Congo, MONUC, with military means, in his speech on Friday to the UN Security Council.
