Commission sees continuing problems regarding Air France-Alitalia alliance

Brussels, 18/07/2003 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission is optimistic about the alliance between the air companies Alitalia and Air France. "We are always able to find solutions to the problems that we have identified on the routes concerned and Mr Monti remains confident that the two airlines Alitalia and Air France will submit proposals that will enable us to clear this alliance", Amelia Torres underlined.
