Brussels, 18/07/2003 (Agence Europe) - The Council has approved a simplified visa regime for those taking part in the Summer Olympic Games of 2004 in Athens. A three-month visa will be issued to all participants applying to the organising committee at the same time as they request their accreditation, provided that they have genuinely been named as a member of the "Olympic family" by the relevant bodies.
