Reconstruction in Iraq and relations between EU and Africa will be main themes of General Affairs and External Relations Council

Brussels, 18/07/2003 (Agence Europe) - The General Affairs and External Relations Council, to be held on Monday in Brussels, will be mainly devoted to relations between the EU and Africa as well as to the situation in Iraq and above all to rebuilding of the country. Furthermore, the Council is expected to adopt, without debate, conclusions on Cuba in which it deplores the recent developments in human rights but states its resolve to continue political dialogue.
