The American group LIBERTY MEDIAS is seeking to enter into exclusive talks with the French company VU - VIVENDI UNIVERSAL over a takeover bid for its US entertainment activities comprising UNIVERSAL STUDIOS, cable TV channels and theme parks. We recall that VIVENDI UNIVERSAL has begun the sale of its entertainment business, within the framework of its programme for the sale of assets evaluated at EUR 16 billion.
