Commission wants Member States to adopt new international liability scheme for transport of passengers and luggage at sea before the end of 2005

Brussels, 25/06/2003 (Agence Europe) - On Tuesday, the European Commission unveiled a draft decision to make all EU Member States parties to the new International Maritime Organisation (IMO) liability rules for carriers of passengers by sea, adopted in November and known as the Athens Protocol.
