Commission could grant additional EUR 15 million to Moldavia to support balance of payments

Brussels, 25/06/2003 (Agence Europe) - On Monday, during a meeting between the President of the Commission, Romano Prodi and the Moldavian President, Vladimir Vorontin, that the European Commission announced that it may be ready to agree to supplementary financial aid of EUR 15 million to Moldavia in addition to the EUR 38.7 million in 2003 under the Tacis programme, to support the country's balance of payments.
