EPP summit calls on IGC to conclude work by end of year in Rome - Forum of South East Europe to meet in the autumn

Kassandra, 20/06/2003 (Agence Europe) - The European People's Party (EPP) Summit chaired by Wilfried Martens, which preceded the European Council in Thessaloniki, adopted a Resolution on Thursday calling on the Heads of State and Government to begin the work of the Intergovernmental Conference on the future European Constitution as quickly as possible and to "finalise a constitutional treaty based on the European Convention's proposal".
