19/06/2003 (Agence Europe) - The Environment Council of 13 June adopted without debate the common position on the amended proposal of directive aimed at strengthening the safety rules for third country aircraft using Community airports, in accordance with the decision reached by the Transport Council on 27 March. The European Parliament is expected to give its stance at second reading on this common position (codecision).
