EU measures to stop imports of chilli products containing carcinogenic agent

Brussels, 19/06/2003 (Agence Europe) - The Standing Committee on the Food Chain and Animal Health (SCFCAH), composed of representatives of Member States, agreed on 17 June 2003 to take emergency measures proposed by the European Commission to stop imports into the EU of hot chilli products containing "Sudan red 1".
