Plenary says yes to greater flexibility of slots

Brussels, 19/06/2003 (Agence Europe) - On Thursday in Brussels, the European Parliament approved without debate the report by Luciano Caveri, outgoing president of the committee on regional policy and transport, supporting the Commission's proposal temporarily to relax the rules on allocating take-off and landing slots in European airports, to take into account difficulties airlines have encountered this year, both because of the war in Iraq and the outbreak of atypical pneumonia (see EUROPE...
