Council of 5 June aims for general guideline on European agency responsible for network and information security

Brussels, 27/05/2003 (Agence Europe) - There will only be two items on the telecommunications part of the agenda of the Transport/Telecommunications/Energy Council, to be held in Luxembourg on 5 and 6 June. Apart from the conclusions on the World Summit on the Information Society (see EUROPE of 24 May, p.15), the Ministers are to conclude a "general guideline" (without the opinion of the Parliament, they will be unable to conclude a political agreement) on the proposed regulation instituting...
