Commission regrets limited scope of extension of majority voting for foreign policy and taxation

Brussels, 27/05/2003 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has expressed its regret that the use of qualified majority voting remains limited to foreign policy and taxation, in draft part III on "policies and the implementation of the Union's action", which was distributed on Tuesday by the Presidium of the Convention.
