Adoption of communication on integrated policy for products deferred for two weeks

Brussels, 26/05/2003 (Agence Europe) - Out of the two European Commission communications that it intended to present on Tuesday on environmental performance, the European Commission will now only be adopting that on waste prevention an recycling (see EUROPE 24 May, p 11). The Communication adoption involves integrated product policy (IPP) and has been deferred because further amendments are needed, announced a Commission spokesperson.
