Brussels, 19/05/2003 (Agence Europe) - The Council of Europe has modified anti dumping measures on hot roll coil imports and pipe accessories to prevent the effect of these duties (to be applied till 28 March 2005), as well as safeguard measures on these products following the almost closing up of the US steel market, is not "greater than planned". The regulation published in the Official Journal L114, explains that such a combination could impose unjustified charges on some producer-exporters seeking to export to the Community and prevent them from acceding the Community market. These businesses are from around the world and include Russia, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Bulgaria, South Africa, Serbia and Montenegro, Thailand, Taiwan, Malaysia and Korea.
