GENERAL NEWS / (eu) eu/humanitarian aid/angola

19/05/2003 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission decided on 16 May to provide continuing humanitarian support for populations affected by the war in Angola. Aid of 5 million Euros will be made available through Echo, the EU's humanitarian aid office. It will be implemented by NGOs in partnership with Echo, and by international agencies present in the country, and by neighbouring countries hosting Angolan refugees.
