Brussels, 16/05/2003 (Agence Europe) - By adopting on 13 May by 421 votes for, 47 against and 5 abstentions, the own-initiative report of Jaime Valdivielso de Cué (EPP-ED, Spain) on the sixth report on the situation in the world shipbuilding industry (see EUROPE 14 November 2002), Parliament has given its full support to the approach adopted by the European Commission for countering the unfair trade practices of South Korea in this sector.
