Brussels, 08/05/2003 (Agence Europe) - The Justice Ministers of the Fifteen reached an agreement early Thursday evening on a political agreement regarding mutual recognition and the imposition of fines of over 70 euros. Any fine decided by a criminal court, or which may be challenged before such a court, should be recognised by another Member State that will take the necessary measures to ensure it is imposed, if the State taking the decision calls upon it to do so.
