NGOs concerned at effects on health and environment of latest delay in new legislation on chemical products

Brussels, 08/05/2003 (Agence Europe) - As already indicated, several NGOs have expressed their concerns at the latest delay foreseen in the adoption of new European legislation on chemical products, after Margot Wallström and Erkii Liikanen presented the views of the European Commission on this subject (see yesterday's EUROPE, pages 7 and 8).
