Brussels, 08/05/2003 (Agence Europe) - At the European Congress on Gender and the Information Society and the informal ministerial meeting held in Athens on 5 an 6 May on equality between men and women in the Information Society, the European Commission and the Greek Presidency issued a joint statement on women's key role in creating an Information Society.
