Commission Communication on role of universities in knowledge-based Europe should be less technocratic and more humanist, according to future EU Member States

Brussels, 06/05/2003 (Agence Europe) - According to its President Petros Efthymiou, the 5 May Education Council in Brussels led to very fruitful results in terms of promoting the Lisbon objectives (see Europe of 6 May, pp 12-13).
