Mr Lamy in Africa to prepare negotiation of future economic partnership agreement

Brussels, 23/04/2003 (Agence Europe) - The European Commissioner for Trade, Pascal Lamy, will be in West Africa from 24 to 26 April to enhance the commercial ties with this sub-region of the ACP group of states called upon to renegotiate an economic partnership agreement with the EU once the present negotiations with all the ACP group (Africa, Caribbean, Pacific) countries are finished.
