14/04/2003 (Agence Europe) - The European Parliament rejected by 266 votes against 189 for and 7 abstentions the report by Timothy Kirkhope relating to the draft German Directive aimed at regulating transit assistance, between the Member States, of persons expelled on airlines. The report will be once more examined in the Freedoms Committee. The report, which supports the German proposal, had been adopted by 21 votes against 10 in Committee.
