Fischler recalls CAP reform proposals would make it possible to save EUR 337 million in 2006

Brussels, 27/03/2003 (Agence Europe) - On Tuesday, Commissioner Franz Fischler explained to MEPs from the EP Committee on Budgets that, compared to a status quo scenario, the reform measures proposed for some market sectors and aid to income that is not coupled to production would make it possible to make net savings for the EU15 budget of EUR 337 million in 2006 and EUR 186 million in 2010 and the following years: - additional annual costs corresponding to new aid, in particular in the...
