Brussels, 20/03/2003 (Agence Europe) - The first official Tripartite Social Summit for Growth and Employment was held on 20 March, chaired by Costas Simitis and Romano Prodi and attended by Anna Diamantopoulou. It was very productive despite being overshadowed by the war on Iraq.
