The Israeli-US film producer Haim Saban has bought control of KIRCH MEDIA, the broadcasting subsidiary of KIRCH by acquiring (for some 2 billion euros) a 36% stake in PROSIEBENSAT.1 (annual turnover of around 2 billion euros) which includes the private German TV channels PROSIEBEN, SAT.1, KABEL1 and N24, along with KIRCHMEDIA's catalogue of films and TV series.
