Supplies for oil market secure despite the war, according to IEA

Paris, 20/03/2003 (Agence Europe) - The world's main oil producing countries state in a press release issued on Thursday that there will be sufficient supplies for the oil market despite the war on Iraq, to quote Clause Mandil, executive director of the International Energy Agency (IEA). The IEA has been monitoring the global oil market and says it is ready, if necessary, to "step up oil production", adding that the IEA remained in contact with the main oil producing countries and with OPEC...
