Seminar on data protection

Brussels, 20/03/2003 (Agence Europe) - The European Parliament's Commission on Civil Liberties has arranged a meeting in Brussels for 25 March, on the theme "Data Protection since 11 September 2001: which strategy for Europe?" This seminar looks closely at the critical resolution approved by MEPs on access by the United States to personal data of air passengers coming from the European Union (see EUROPE of 14 March, p.13).
