Fifteen to discuss Iraq on Thursday evening- Candidate countries invited to lunch on Friday

Brussels, 13/03/2003 (Agence Europe) - European Commission spokesperson Jonathan Faull indicated on Thursday that the Iraq crisis dossier would be discussed by the Heads of State and Government at the opening dinner of the Spring Summit on Thursday 20 March. This means that the candidate countries will not take part in the discussions. However, they will be joining the Fifteen for lunch the following day, and so will be involved in discussions on developments in the Lisbon process.
