Brussels, 05/03/2003 (Agence Europe) - Javier Solana, EU High Representative for CFSP met General James Jones, the NATO SACEUR, on Tuesday. Both men stressed the good relations that exist between NATO and the EU, especially for finalising the "Berlin +" agreement allowing the EU to use NATO capabilities for operations under ESDP (see EUROPE of 14 December, p.6), as well as their close cooperation in the Balkans.
