Brussels, 05/03/2003 (Agence Europe) - On Tuesday, the Environment Council reached a political agreement on the so-called "Forest Focus" regulation that aims to establish a new Community system for assessing the impact of atmospheric pollution and fires on forest eco-systems for the period 2003-2008, with a budget of EUR 52 million for the initial period 2003-2006.
