ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) glass

SCHOTT-GLAVERBEL (Belgian group, GLAVERBEL, subsidiary of the Japanese ASAHI GLASS group and the German firm SCHOTT GLASS; turnover EUR 150 millions in 2002) has acquired ORIM, tinted and silk screen printed glass for white goods, with a workforce of 345 and a turnover of EUR 26 million in 2002. The company has been renamed SCHOTT-ORIM.
