Brussels, 06/02/2003 (Agence Europe) - The Commission has decided to initiate a formal investigation into the support for machinery rings in Bavaria. The aid consists of direct grants. The aid intensity was 42% of the operating costs in 2001 and will be reduced to 33% in 2005. The maximum amount of aid was €4.38 million in 2001 and will be reduced to €3.46 million in 2005.
