Green light to aid for CLYDEboyd (UK)

Brussels, 06/02/2003 (Agence Europe) - The Commission has decided approve a planned UK investment subsidy in favour of Clydeboyd Ltd. As part of the Freight Facilities Grant Scheme, the aid intends to encourage modal shift from road to water transport by providing a larger berth and enhanced freight handling facilities at Corparch Pier, near Fort William in Scotland.
