Commission investigates second rescue aid package to German aircraft manufacturer Fairchild Dornier

Brussels, 06/02/2003 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has initiated the investigation procedure into additional rescue aid to insolvent aircraft manufacturer Fairchild Dornier. The German manufacturer has been insolvent since March 2002 and had benefited from a rescue guarantee for three months until 20 September 2002, the time to find a financial partner for the company.
