Brussels, 20/01/2003 (Agence Europe) - The President of the European Commission, Romano Prodi, sent a letter, on Friday, to the President of the European Council, Greek Prime Minister Constantin Simitis, with a copy to the French, Spanish and Portuguese governments. In his letter, he announces the different measures that the Commission plans to take at short and medium term to palliate the consequences of the Prestige oil tanker disaster.
